Clinical:
- A 12 years old girl
- Had a pin at her lips to put on head scarf
- Alleged accidentally swallowed it
Radiographic findings:
- There is dense opaque linear foreign body seen (red arrows)
- On frontal radiograph is seen overlying the distal trachea and on lateral view seems located within the tracheal lumen
- No pneumoperitoneum or pneumomediastinum
- No pleural effusion
Diagnosis: Foreign body in the trachea
Progress of patient:
- Bronchoscopic removal of the foreign body was done
- Uneventful recovery
